KATHY HEROD, PRINCIPAL BROKER KATHY, Rogue Valley resident since 1989, has more than 20 years’ experience as a real estate investor and has served as President of the Southern Oregon Rental Owners’ Association. She is also a “retired” Certified Public Accountant, having owned a CPA firm in Southern California before relocating to Oregon. She retired in 2000 as Deputy Director at ACCESS, Inc., a community action agency in Medford, after 10 years of service. KATHY has earned the following designations from the National Association of REALTORS®: ABR—Accredited Buyer’s Representative; e-PRO Certified Internet Specialist; GRI—Graduate of the REALTORS® Institute. Her affiliations include: Oregon Society of CPAs; American Institute of CPAs; past Vice-President of Women’s Council of REALTORS®. KATHY lives in Medford with her husband Tom and daughter Molly. Tom is past President of the Board of Directors of La Clinica del Valle, a family health clinic in Phoenix, and is a current volunteer delivering meals to homebound seniors with Food and Friends. Molly, born in Medford, is a college student at Southern Oregon University, an active teenager interested in music, sports and friends. JEFF AVILA, BROKERJEFF, Rogue Valley resident since 1999, brings a strong background in computers and internet proficiency to Valley Properties Southern Oregon. He has been a Real Estate Broker since 2002, holding the e-PRO designation as a Certified Internet Specialist from National Association of REALTORS®. Jeff attended California State University, Chico as a Music major. If he looks familiar, it may be that you’ve seen him perform as a vocalist, bassist and drummer on the local music scene. JEFF lives in Medford with his wife Christina and their two sons David and Tony. |
